Obituary of Rosemarie A. Klos
A loving mother, Rosemarie passed away on June 20 at the age of 98. Trained in the Harper Method in Dayton, Ohio, she was a beautician who co-owned her own salon and later joined Salon de George in Irondequiot. Having then worked at Wards Natural Science Museum and later as an Irondequoit School District bus driver, she dedicated her retirement to volunteer activities as a Grease Paint Clown Alley member, a St. Kateri Tekawitha Eucharistic minister, a transporter for elder health care appointments. An outstanding seamstress, voracious knitter, melodious vocalist, and the family's "social butterfly",she enjoyed traveling throughout the country and overseas. Predeceased by the love of her life Gerald, Rosemarie is survived by her children Barbara, Joseph and Stephen along with five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Though missed dearly, she will be lovingly remembered by all for her humor and deep love of family.
Friends are invited to join the family at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.) on Friday, June 24 from 4 to 7Pm. Friends are invited to meet the family on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11AM at St. Kateri At Christ the King Church for her funeral mass. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Monroe Community Hospital or a charity of one's choice in Rosemarie's memory.
