Pat was my boyfriend in 8th grade at St. John's on Ridge Road. He applied for a job when I was the receptionist at Naum Bros; hadn't seen him in a few years...he looked very good, very different from our Catholic school days. My favorite quote from him, during a group letter composition in English class, was regarding the salutation, "...make that a COLON, not a comma. Because this is NOT a 'friendly' letter." Such an outspoken, bright, insightful comment. Rest in peace, Pat. It was an honor to have been your special girl.

My condolences on Patrick’s passing. Born just 6 days prior to me, I was supposed to be a Patrick, but Bob / Eileen beat my parents to it and thereby I became Kevin Patrick! Point of trivia that most probably don’t know! Loved our wild and crazy visits as kids to 90 Holmes Rd. Over the recent years, lost awareness of all the Loewke happinings with the passing of Eileen and her Christmas missives. Always the first Christmas greeting to hit the mailbox! Just a glimmer in time. Memories flow. Sledding down Lee Hill, our first car we bought for $35 , cross country trip in too small car, my first joint at your apt i Brockport, the drive to Syracuse with Chuck and Sedge, your paper route i helped you with in knee deep snow. The fort in the woods Saying goodbye too many times then never saying hello again. Fly with the angels brother.
