Charles A. Hawkins

Irondequoit: Friday, July 29, 2022 at the age of 82 after a courageous battle with cancer. Pre-deceased by his wife, Barbara. He is survived by his sons, Michael Hawkins and James (Stephanie) Hawkins; granddaughters, Brittany (Josh) Messmer, and Kristina (Anthony Loria) Hawkins; Lindsey and Caitlyn Hawkins, Mackenzie Purvee, great grandson, Robbie Messmer. Brothers: Joseph (Rosalind) and William (Annette) Hawkins; many nieces and nephews.

Charles was a devout sports fan, following both the Bills and the Yankees. He also loved the family pets and wildlife in his backyard. Bragging about his family and getting together and celebrating family functions always made him happy. He will be greatly missed as a devoted father, beloved friend, Papa and brother.

His family will receive friends Friday, August 5, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Interment Private.
