Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

James W. Demers, Jr. "Tiny" age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 1, 2022 surrounded by his loving family and friends.  Jamie was predeceased by his grandparents, Isadore and Ruth Collins and Dolly and Patrick Demers.  Jamie is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Tanya Bolster Demers.  His children, Ariel and Logan Leonard.  His parents, James and Joan (Collin) Demers, Sr.  Aunts, uncles and cousins who were more like brothers. Mother and father-in-law, Richard and Marina Bolster, sister-in-law, Christine (Scott) Davis and numerous friends that Tiny preferred to call his family.

Jamie was born on December 8, 1972 in Huntingdon, Quebec.  He graduated from Salmon River Central School in 1991.  Jamie graduated from the NYSDOCCS Academy in 1994 and retired in 2021 with over 27 years of dedicated service.  Tiny married the love of his life, Tanya Bolster on July 3, 2015 and his life was now complete with a beautiful bride and their two children that he adored and worshipped. He was the best son any parent could ask for and always putting his wife, children, mom, dad and friends first, before his own needs. Tiny was a friend to all who had the pleasure to meet him or work with him and was a generous man donating his time, talents, to anyone who needed help. Jamie would light up a room full of strangers and if you didn't know him, you would by the time he left.  Jamie was the life of the party and loved putting smiles on people’s faces.  In his free time, Tiny loved to travel with his wife Tanya and making memories with his friends and family.  He loved to play cards and try his luck at the Casino or gaming tables that he came in contact with on his travels.  Tiny was an avid hunter and looked forward to going down to the southern tier every year with his dad. After his retirement, he visited his parents everyday, often playing cards with his mother and this was his reason for not accomplishing his "honey do" list.

Friends are invited to join the family for a Celebration of Jamie's Life at Tiny's home on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from to 1PM until  whenever Tiny would have left the party.  Prayer service will begin at 3PM and the family would love all those who wish to share words of remembrance about Tiny.  Please come and raise a can to the "big dog” Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.  In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be directed to the Westville Fire Department, (3891 State Route 37, Constable, NY 12926) in Jamie's memory.
