Irondequoit: Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at age 97. Stanley is survived by his wife of 74 years, Dorothy Kowalski; daughters, Deborah (Michael) Hauck, Dale (Richard) Carlascio; sons, David (Barbara), Douglas (Cathy); daughter-in-law, Joni; grandchildren, Katherine (Christian) Schwenk, Beth (Aaron) Humby, Carolyn (Phillip) Jakubowski, Brett (Wendy) Stahura, Mary Katherine Stahura, Matthew (Kim) Carlascio, Nicole (Sean) Wetherington, Makenzie Stahura and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Daniel Jon, parents, Anthony and Lucy Stahura; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Stanley was a graduate of the University of Rochester and a veteran of the US Navy. He was a Research Chemist for Eastman Kodak, a member of the Irondequoit Kawanis Club, the Rochester Yacht Club and a longtime member of St Margaret Mary Church.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 17, 2023 10:00 AM at St Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church (401 Rogers Parkway). Inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to "The American Heart Association" or "Honor Flight Rochester".
