My condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Broikou and the whole Broikou family. Pete Broikou (“Mr. B”) was like a second father to me. He was kind, generous and full of humor and good cheer. He always had a kind word or something encouraging to say at a time in my life when I badly needed some direction. That’s the way he was. I am forever indebted to he and Mrs B, who raised a wonderful family, kept a house that was overflowing with love and always welcomed me into it. Pete Broikou personifies the phrase “a life well lived”. God Bless him.
