Obituary of Jean Mary Gramlich

The angels joyfully welcomed Jean into paradise on June 24th at the age of 87. Jean was predeceased by her loving husband, David Gramlich and daughter, Ann Head. Jean was a devoted wife, and a loving mother to Karen (Timothy) Maguire, Robert (Marylee) Gramlich, John (Diane) Gramlich, Jim (Dina) Gramlich, Kate (Adam) Gramlich-Sinesiou, son-in-law, Eric Head. Ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was a lifelong resident of Irondequoit and a Christ the King Church member for over 60 years. Her greatest joy and accomplishment in life were her family and countless friends. Jean was a woman of strong faith who made the world a better place with her kind heart and generous spirit. We will miss her greatly.

Per Jean's wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian burial for Jean at Christ the King Church on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10AM. Interment will be follow at Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Golisano Childrens Hospital in honor of Jean's granddaughter Avrie.
