James H. Fortin "Papa"

Irondequoit: Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the age of 85. Pre-deceased by his wife, Margie; sister, Patricia (Ed) Bonczyk. He is survived by his children, Vanessa Fortin, Paul Fortin, Theresa (Gerard) DeLone, Susan (Michael) Lesser; grandchildren, Claire, Jake and Ally Fortin, Jennifer, Danny (Melanie), and Nathan (Hannah) DeLone, Sarah & Alexander Lesser; great grandson, Caiden James DeLone; brother, John (Mary Lee) Fortin; special niece, Melissa (Mark) Brunner; and many other nieces and nephews; longtime friends, the Steele and Roper families.

His family will receive friends Friday, June 30, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Where his funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 11:00am. Interment Private Irondequoit Cemetery. In memory of James, please wear your favorite jeans to all services.
