Thomas J. Nevis

Rochester: On Sunday, July 23, 2023. Thomas "Tom" Nevis passed away at the age of 75. Tom was born on January 17th, 1948, in Rochester, NY to John and Anna Marie (Burkhartzmeyer) Nevis.

Tom served in the Vietnam War as a soldier in the United States Army. When he left the military in 1969, he served as a longtime bartender at establishments around the country, including Bald Peak Colony Club in Moltonborough, New Hampshire before retiring in 2012.

Tom is predeceased by his parents and older brother, Jack. He is survived by his son TJ (Ashley) Nevis; his brother, Bob Nevis and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Tom's graveside service will be held Saturday, July 29th at 1:00pm at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Please meet at the Lake Ave gate.
