Mr. Stuart was a favorite teacher to many - including me. He was my math teacher and being a class officer I got to know him quite well. As yearbook editor it was my honor to present him with the 1974 yearbook dedication. Later on I got to know his sister, Kate and was glad to reconnect with him at her wedding. About 3 years ago, I was driving down Lake Road and saw a man going to his mailbox and knew it was Jud when I saw the pencil behind his ear! We chatted awhile, got caught up on our “news”. To his family, I offer my condolences. I hope you find comfort knowing how loved he was, how he loved his family. He will be missed by many. Kate, I’d love to reconnect with you.
