Obituary of Emily C. Reddy

Emily Reddy, born January 19, 1921, daughter of Elizabeth and Frances (Frank) Kowalski of polish descent, passed away in the comfort of her home on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the age of 102. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard E. Reddy, Past Chief of the Ridge Culver Fire Department and son Robert Reddy (Judy). Emily is survived by her sister, Virginia Dembowski of Port Charlotte, Florida, as well as son Ronald Reddy (Kelly), seven grandchildren; Brian Reddy, Joanna Dwyer (Ryan), Christopher Nichols (Laurie), James Reddy (Janet), Andrew Reddy (Meghan), David Reddy, Julie Raymond as well as nine great grandchildren.

Emily was a lifetime charter member of the Ridge Culver Volunteer Firemen Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed gardening, travelling with her husband, assembling puzzles, completing crossword puzzle books, playing piano and organ, as well as singing in the St Cecilia's Church choir.

Friends and family are invited to attend Emily's services and internment at the Irondequoit Cemetery on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ridge Culver Volunteer Fire Association in Emily's memory.
