LaTempa, Joseph R.

Webster: Friday, October 13, 2023 at the age of 84. Predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Virginia LaTempa. Joseph is survived by his wife, Linda (Perticone) LaTempa; daughters, Darlene Merrill, Dawn (Jim) Waver, Debbie (Jim) LaTempa-Barth, Dina (Steve) Smock; 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sister, Belinda (Mike) Geen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Joe was a self employed barber for 25 years, a business owner and caterer. He was an avid fisherman. He loved to cook, paint in oils and watercolors and he captivated everyone with his stories. Joe was a Veteran of the US Navy.

Friends are invited to join the family Wednesday, October 18, 10:00 am at St. Jerome's Church (207 S. Garfield St.) for his funeral mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Philip F. Profetta.
