Obituary of Suzanne E. Spindler
Suzanne E. Spindler, age 84 of Irondequoit has fulfilled her mission here on Earth and was presented to her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on October 12th, 2023.
Her heart was transformed by the amazing grace of God in 1973 as she began to follow Jesus Christ. She gave her Christian life to the spreading of the Gospel to whosoever would listen. She showed Gods love to everyone she encountered. Her smile emitted a radiance of benevolence like a beacon of light in a dark world.
Suzanne wanted to thank the entire staff at Rochester General Hospital who cared for her needs during her stay.
Mrs.Spindler was predeceased by her loving husband, Paul B. Spindler, of 56 years, her parents, Howard and Josephine Eckrich, sister Joanne Knapp, brother, Howard Eckrich and sister-in-law Pat Eckrich. Suzanne is survived by her son David Spindler, daughter Anne Marie (Michael) Scozzari, son Jefferey (Gina) Spindler, grandchildren Joshua, Abby, Giana, and Hannah, brother Tom Eckrich, brother-in-laws Gerard Knapp, Ray (Joyce) Spindler, sister-in-laws Ilona Eckrich and Roseanne (Richard) Lawrence. Her love for her family extends to cousins, nieces, nephews, Church bretheren, friends, and neighbors. She was a homemaker her whole life, tending to her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Friends are invited to meet the family on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 at Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Highway South) from 4 to 7pm. A Celebration of Suzanne's life will be held at Christian Assembly Church (1165 Lyell Ave) on Thursday, October 19th at 11am. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Donations may be directed to St.Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Sue's memory
