I met Bud at Cherry Ridge. He taught me everything I needed to know so I could become a full-time driver. He was actually my work spouse and we became close friends. He even challenged me to cover on Christmas for a single mom when Dorothy was visiting family in TX. He joined our family for Chinese. The kids really enjoyed Bud being with us. I was introduced to the the American Eagle Schooner which he went on every summer. I finally went with my daughter Sarah. She ended up spending the last 6 weeks of the season working as part of the crew. I fondly remember Bud. Sandy Luciano

Bud was a longtime colleague during his Xerox days and was such a solid, decent, and of the highest integrity. We all learned from his experience in accounting and business overall - he taught us younger folks the ropes - and the 'real ropes.' our lives, our values, our perspectives have all been strengthened because Bud Thayer shared his life with us. We're gonna miss Bud a lot, and we're gonna pray for Dorothy to have peace and strength during this time. Pete connelly.
