Obituary of Philip D. Marra

Marra, Philip D. West Irondequoit: Died on December 12, 2023 at age 88. Originally from the Alexandria Bay region, born in Theresa, NY, and was a Charlotte High School graduate of 1954. Predeceased by his parents, Philip and Theresa Marra; and sister, Donna. Survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne Marra; daughter Lin (Walt) Oldenburg; sons Phil (Tina); David; Chris (Cheri); Joel (Deb); and stepchildren Greg (Heather) Bradfield; Rebecca (Steve) Webb; Gwen Hamilton; 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brother, Steve (Carol); several nieces and nephews. He was employed as a draftsman at Gleason Works for 16 years and later as a mechanical designer at Kodak for 28 years, retiring in 1998. As a man of many talents, his interests included: photography, hunting, woodcarving, carpentry, artistic painting, gardening, and traveling. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday, December 16 at 2:00pm, Webster Bible Church, 675 Holt Road, Webster, NY. Light reception following.
