My husband and i were saddened to see Conan's obituary in today's paper. We didn't know him very well, but we always enjoyed talking with him and Mike when we saw them outside working on their yard on Pinegrove. Our condolences to Mike and family. Karen Spencer and Tom Scalzo

What does one say at a time of profound loss? Language seems too limited. Conan was a unique, wonderful, intelligent and loving person. From my earliest memory he ran in his own lane. As a child I remember his big eyes that seemed to take in everything with joy and wonder. (I really wish the ER doctor had better suturing skills!) Conan and I had drastically different worldviews - but he was always open to conversation. He was full of life and certainly did his best to live fully. I will miss him greatly…

Sending condolences and strength to Mike and the entire O'Neill family. So many happy memories, but not enough time. Still in disbelief. As my little heart breaks. Conan had a special place in my heart and always will. I have no words...To say he was one of my very best friends doesn't even scratch the surface. We had a relationship and a bond that was unexplainable. We just got each other. Until we meet again, I'll miss all your inappropriate phone calls, texts and gestures. There was only one Conan! There will never be another you,! You were one of a kind! You leave all of us having to go on reminiscing with the crazy, fun memories of all the good times, parties and get togethers as we try and fill this huge void without you. You were loved by so many! "Love & Miss You Darling" among all the other things that in true Conan fashion are very inappropriate to say on social media. THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND ❤️

From the moment of hearing the sad & inconceivable news, I think the feeling is shared by all who knew him-Conan we miss you immediately, and you were a beloved friend to all. Conan was a man who seemed to make everyone welcome, truly enjoyed people’s company, & always sincere engaged with others; poking fun, sharing a laugh or a cry, or simply taking the time to focus & be interested in you. Mike and family, I was so overwhelmed with sadness to hear that one of my favorite people in this world is no longer with us. I have missed Mike and Conan constantly since they moved from pinegrove. He was always there for us and always made each of us laugh. I can hear his contagious laugh right now. He could make you smile no matter what kind of day you were having. Everyone in the neighborhood knew him and loved him. He was just that kind of person. He will be forever missed. I hope that you can keep his spirit in your heart because he was an amazing person.
