Obituary of Maria A. Halunko

age 72, passed away on January 13, 2024. Her health has been declining for years. She was born in Nuremberg, Germany to Ukrainian parents and came to the U.S. at age two after living in a displaced person's camp post World War II.

She worked in manufacturing most of her life, including Shuron-Textron and Caldwell Manufacturing, and at Walmart for the last few years before retiring. She loved to read mystery novels and enjoyed writing poetry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Micheal Halunko. She is survived by her siblings Lucy Halunko-Taran and Walter Halunko. She leaves behind her two cats, Cloe and Spencer, whom she loved dearly. She will truly be missed.
