Obituary of Kathryn Pukyrys

Kathryn Pukyrys Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the age of 89. She is survived by her daughter, Nadia; grandchildren, Sarah, Amanda, Michael; six great-grandchildren; brother, John Yakymyszyn; nieces, Tania, Vera, Stefania, Luba; nephew, Mark; extended family in Ukraine, Canada and PA. Predeceased by sisters, Sonia Weaver, Anna Sochockyj, Maria Syplywyj, Parania Smith; her best friend Stanley Hurysz. Kathryn was a lifelong parishoner of St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church and enjoyed singing in church and Ukrainian community choirs. She also enjoyed scenic car rides and her knick-knack collections. Kathryn's Divine Liturgy will be held Wednesday, March 6th at 10:00am St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to RocMaidan or St. Josaphat's Church.
