To a Navy Lieutenant Commander & Career Sailor who’s been to the South Pole with Admiral Byrd, across the Arctic Circle on a ship, within several hundred miles of the North Pole behind an icebreaker, and participated in atomic bomb testing in the bikini islands on an observation ship, traveled on board ship with Harry & Truman, and met and photographed Queen Elizabeth, II on a navy ship he was assigned to, I send a salute & a “Job Well-Done, Sailor”! Thanks Dad (Love, Your Eldest Son, Steve)

Mr. Thomas was a very special man who positively impacted everyone he met. Steve was a very good friend during grade school and high school and I interacted with Mr. Thomas often during those years. He always had a smile on his face and I admired how his interactions with people were so constructive and beneficial. I feel extremely fortunate to have known Mr. Thomas because he was a person who helped influence the type of man I wanted to be. He was a was an amazing family man who touched so many people in a terrific way. RIP Mr. Thomas!
