deepest condolences to your family. He was probably my favorite teacher at Monroe High School. I ran into him about a year ago in volunteers of America and immediately we recognized each other after all these years. He was so talented and a kind spirit! He taught me so much in his industrial Arts class at monroe High School! My first experience in a dark room developing pictures was in his class! Setting up type print from California Job Case! Fond memories!

Mr. Deponceau was a good teacher, very caring and compassionate. He made class fun and interesting. He at one time took in a student who was in a "bad place" , gave him a home and a purpose in life. That student even tried to get into politics later on which I'm sure was because of the guidance given by Mr. Deponceau. He was a good man.
