Obituary of Peter Albert Miles

Peter passed away peacefully at the age of 78. He is predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Eloise Miles; his sister, Thyra Kuhn; and his nephew, Jeffery Kuhn. Peter is survived by his loving wife, Linda Miles; his sons, Michael (Lisa) Miles and Christopher (Melissa) Miles; his sister, Penelope Miles; his brother, Joseph Miles; and his grandchildren, Claire, Owen, Joseph, Rory, Henry, and Violet, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Peter was very proud to have served in the United States Navy, and worked for Kodak until his retirement.

He was always ready to help anyone, whether it was family, friends, neighbors, or even complete strangers.

He was not only devoted and loyal, but also had an affable sense of humor that made people love him. Above all, his family was his greatest joy and the center of his world.

His family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family on Saturday, August 3, at 1:30 pm at the funeral home for his memorial service. Following the service, a reception will be held at the Harris Family Center.
