Irondequoit: Peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the age of 98. Pre-deceased by her husband, Stefan. She is survived by her children, Mary Bodyk, Ann Bodyk, John Bodyk & Roman Bodyk; grandchildren; nephew, Wasyl (Anna) Kornylo; nephew/Godson, John Kornylo; and many other family members in Ukraine and Poland.

Tekla was a faithful member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany and an active member of Sisterhood of St. Olga at the church.

Her family will receive friends Tuesday, July 23, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Panakhyda 6:30pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday, July 24, 10:00 am at Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany or RocMaidan, 1040 Jackson Rd. Webster, NY 14580.
