Obituary of Marguerite C. Myers

Myers, Marguerite C. (Town): Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the age of 85 at her home under the watchful care of one of the guardian angels from Home Care From the Heart. Predeceased by her mother and father, Bertha and William Myers; sister, Mary; brother, Tom. She is survived by her sister, Doris(Leo) Meehan; brother-in-law, George Popp; niece and nephews, several cousins, special friends. A special thank you and recognition to the team of caregivers and companions from Home Care From the Heart. A lifelong resident of Irondequoit, Marge graduated from St. Mary's School of Nursing in 1946, and later received her bachelors degree from Empire State College. She rendered her nursing skills in the USAR where she retired as Colonel, and worked at the American Red Cross, and Gleason Works. Her family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family THURSDAY 9:30 AM at Blessed Kateri at Christ the King Church for her memorial mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
