Obituary of Margaret F. Dawson

Webster- Dawson (Froehler), Margaret,(Nana,Grandma D) August 26, 2024 at the age of 86. Peg was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene Froehler. She is predeceased by the love of her life, her husband of 60 years, James; infant daughter, Susan Margaret; parents-in-law Charles and Bernadine Dawson; daughter-in-law, Linda Dawson; sister, Marilyn Semrau; brother, Robert Froehler; brothers-in-law, Terrence Semrau and Donald Dawson. She is survived by her children, Daniel (Katie), Ann Marie ( Juanita Cornell) and Alan; daughter-in-law, Karen (Scott); grandchildren, Brendan (Lindsey), Leah (John Yambor), Eric, James (Rachel), Sierra (Ryan Long), Jordan and Kaidan; great-grandchildren, Damon, Olive and Josh; sister-in-law, Christine Froehler and Dorothy Dawson along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Peg and her husband Jim were foster parents to 16 newborns who were awaiting their permanent homes. Peg volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Water for South Sudan.

No prior calling hours. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on September 4, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Paul’s Church, 783 Hard Road, Webster NY 14580. A celebratory luncheon will follow.
