Irondequoit: Tony passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the age of 59, while listening to the Rolling Stones. Predeceased by his parents, Jerome and Alice. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Christina (Primo) Bakewicz; sons, Joshua and Jacob; granddaughter, Valarie; siblings, Jerry (Rita), Lenny, Teddy (Shirley), Randy (Katharina), Cindy (Mark) Lavere, and Larry (Elaine); sister-in-law, Joanna Primo; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

A phenomenal family man, Tony loved football, The Rolling Stones, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. He was always the first to lend a helping hand, was generous and compassionate and made a positive impression on people wherever he went.

His family will receive friends Tuesday, October 1st, 4-8pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday, October 2nd, 10:00am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church for his Funeral Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
