In reading the 12-26-10 obituaries, I couldn't help but recognize that handsome face of "Verne" Etshman. I offer my condolences to his family. I spent my career at Kodak and had the privilege of knowing him. He was a genuine people person, pleasant by all means and reassuring to talk with. Always a willing and compassionate listener. I feel honored and proud to have had Vern as a good friend. He was well informed in a wide variety of subjects and always interested in other people's ideas and comments. When we had lunch he never 'volunteered' comments on his health, rather he was inquiring and interested in how others were doing. He did very well at Kodak but never lost sight of the small town values tht anchor one as an individual. I will miss him greatly.

Lois, Todd and Eric, Vern was such a joy to know. His smile would make me smile. I loved his humor and especially his laugh. I had the opportunity to work with Vern so many years ago and saw him just a few years ago at an HR Luncheon. He was still the same loveable, jovial gentleman I knew years ago. My memory of Vern was listening to him talk so lovingly of all of you. I am so sorry for your loss. Vern was a treasure
