Kobasowsky, Simon
Irondequoit: Friday, February 18, 2011 at the age of 84. Mr. Kobasowsky is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sofie, nieces, Mary Kwiek, nephew, Stefan Luhowskyj, great nephews, Bryan Lilly and Chandler Luhowskyj, nieces Halyna & Irina of NJ., cousins, Olha & Roman of CT., niece and nephew, Natalka & Jurij in Ukraine as well as other family in Ukraine. Simon was a long time member of the Brotherhood of Ukrainian 1st National Division and member of the Ukrainian National Choir and Church of the Epiphany Choir.
His family will receive friends Monday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home. Panachyda 7:00pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Tuesday 10:00am at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Epiphany for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to "Brody-Lew" Ukrainian Brotherhood for the Preservation of War Graves and Memorials, PO Box 261, Cooper Station, NY 10276.
