Obituary of Gerard E. Iuppa

Iuppa, Sr. Gerard E. Webster: Christmas morning, just as the sun came up, the Lord came for our father and took him to Heaven. He was a great man and we all loved him dearly, and we will celebrate him in the coming days. Predeceased by his brother, Louis Iuppa II; sister, Bernice Adams. He is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 65 years, Ann Iuppa; sons, Gerard(Kathy) Iuppa Jr., Donald(Pam) Iuppa; daughter, Lori(Tim) Mason; grandchildren, Jennifer, Kevin, Meagan Iuppa, Lindsay, Aaron Iuppa; Chris & Tyler Mason; sister, Lorraine Long; brother, Vernon(Maye) Iuppa; sisters, Margaret Shapiro, Barbara Amico; sisters-in-law, Stella Staccone, Jennie(Sam) Garofolo, Caroline Scardino; many nieces and nephews. Indeed, dad's passing has made Christmas that much more of a holy and special day. In our view, God gave our father the ultimate Christmas present, taking him to the raptures of Heaven and away from imprisonment of a body that no longer allowed him to speak or do the things he loved. Our family will dearly miss him, but we are so happy that his spirit finally has been sent free. His family will receive friends THURSDAY 2-4 & 7-9PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family FRIDAY 9:15AM at ST. RITA'S CHURCH for his funeral mass. Interment Webster Rural Cemetery.
