Obituary of Frances A. D'Angelo-Kowalski

D'Angelo - Kowalski, Frances A. Irondequoit: Peacefully on April 1, 2012, at home in the loving care of her family at age 89. Frances was born in Hulberton, NY on November 17, 1922, is predeceased by her parents, Salvatore & Rose D'Agostinio-Pinna; her siblings Joseph Pinna, Annette Pinna-Mitchell; her husbands, Lawrence "Sonny" D'Angelo ('70) and Bernard 'Ben" Kowalski ('03); brother & sister-in-laws, Veronica "Ronnie" (D'Angelo) Norcezyk, Doris (Nudd) Pinna, Eugene and Paula Kowlaski, Henry Kowlaski; her niece, Carlie (Mitchell) West; her son-In law, James Balcerzak and granddaughter Lillianna D'Angelo. Frances is survived by her children, Lawrence (Karen Young) D'Angelo, Patricia (Donald) Stahl, Mark (Lynn Chiapperini) D'Angelo, Jane Balcerzak, Nancy (Gary) Olin; 5 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Frances went to school in Holley, NY, working at Delco during WWII and later at Casual Corners until her retirement. A long-time resident of Irondequoit, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, travel, dancing, bowling and playing golf. Her family will receive friends Monday April, 9 - 4-8 PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Tuesday April 10 at 10:00 AM at St. Margret Mary's Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
