Hummel, Antoinette Irondequoit: Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the age of 87. Predeceased by sisters Vera Tocci and Phyllis Griffin, brothers, Louis Covino and Lawrence Covino, son-in-law, Brian Bruce. Mrs. Hummel is survived by loving husband, Jack, children, Robert W. (Carol) Hummel, Debbie Bruce, Jacqueline(John) Micillo and Charles(Jeanette) Hummel, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, sisters, Mary "Mae" Diamond, Josephine(Warren) Clifford, Carol(George) Bianchi and Barbara Ann(James) Morris, special friend Lorraine Disabato. Mrs. Hummel retired from the Rochester City School District, School #8, after 16 years of dedicated service and her passion and hobby was loving and caring for her grandchildren and the Atlanta Braves. Her family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 - 4:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 10:00 am at Blessed Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In memory of Antoinette, memorial donations may be directed to Veterans Outreach Center, 459 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620 or the American Diabetes Association, 160 Allens Creek Rd Bldg. 160 1st Floor, Rochester, NY 14618.
