Dear David, Rick and Chick, I first met Vickie in the 1980's at J J Dalton's. her sparkling eyes and brilliant smile were a warm welcome, since my husband Jeff had moved into the neighborhood a few months ago. She was always friendly as well as personable. Later through the years I started working at O'Loughlin's as a cook. There I met
Chick working as a bartender. The next thing I knew, there was Vickie..also as a bartender and expecting
Rick! I had the pleasure of getting to know her a little better, as well as remembering her wonderful laugh!! Making grilled cheese sandwiches for her on the grill was quite the experience when she had the craving!
Dave, I know you made her very happy. Just to see the two of you together was proof enough. In Rochester when someone mentions Louise or Maggie we all seem to know who they are talking about...but in Summerville, when someone mentioned Vickie we all knew who she was! Will miss her deeply Your friend Gloria

Although we haven't seen Vickie very much over the last 15 years, we still have great memories of the fun we had at Schooner's and at all the "Dinner Club" gatherings at Dave and Vickie's, and at the Millers and Morgans (not to mention the 9 Butcher's Ball pig roasts). Those were some of the best times of our lives. Our sincere condolences Dave and Rick.

I can't believe Vickie's gone. She was the most vibrant and energetic person I've ever known. I saw her at Home Depot a month ago and she never mentioned how sick she was. She still looked great and seemed so happy. I'm so glad I got to see her one last time.

We made our first trip of the season to Schooners this past Saturday and were shocked to hear of Vicki's passing. Every year since we first met her (probably 17-18 yrs) she would see us arrive & no matter how busy she was, she would always see us, give us a hug, and say "hi Kids" ... and we sure aren't kids any more. She had a wonderful smile, a kind heart, and we will greatly miss her. Our condolences to her family ~ we are truly sad and will miss her so much. Vicki ... rest in peace ~ we love you!

We have had the pleasure to have known Vickie for more than 30 years. She was such a beautiful and delightful person to know. She was a busy gal and loved her work. She loved being at Schooners and I know she kept herself going to be there for the opening this year.We are so glad we did get to see her and chat with her and share a few laughs. As busy as she was she always took the time to stop and talk with us. We will miss you Vickie. Love you always. Rest in Peace sweetie.

Although I did not know
vickie personally, I knew her through my 3 boys, Ken, Kyle and Conner. She gave all 3 of them their first jobs at Schooners at the age of 15. She taught all 3 what it means to have good work ethic. She had little tolerance for laziness and absentiesm. Not one of them dared to call in sick. I said to Kenny (who is now 23) one day, " You have really good work ethic". He said to me that Vickie was the reason he had good work ethic. He said if you tried to call in Sick to Vickie she would say, "Get your A-- in here". I thank you Vickie for the lasting impression you left on all 3 of my children. I will be forever greatful for the experience you gave to all 3. My heart goes out to all of your friends and Family. May you rest in peace Vickie..

I'm deeply saddened by Vickie's loss. She was a great friend to Rochester's Hospice Regatta and to my family. We won't forget her spirit and her support. What a gal (excuse the expression)!
