Obituary of Bernard A. Heckle

Heckle, Bernard A. Rochester: Friday, July 6, 2012. Bernie is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Dale ; his children; Cynthia (Miguel) Moreno, Damon (Rebecca) Heckle, Darryl (Christine) Heckle, Edmund (Kathryn) Heckle, his grandchildren; Joshua & Kayla Moreno, Lauren & Carolyn Heckle, Madelyn Heckle, his siblings; Rita O'Hara, Mary Roessel & John (Kay) Heckle, also many nieces & nephews . Bernie died of natural causes at his home. He passed away doing what he loved, cooking. He enjoyed preparing meals for his family. He was passionate about his racecars and was happiest when he was speeding down the drag strip. As a guitar player, Bernie loved music and always had something playing at his home. Bernie knew something about everything and always surprised us with his plethora of knowledge. His family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where his funeral service will be held Wednesday 10:00am. Interment White Haven Memorial Park.
