Sweeting, John F.
Webster: Friday, August 21, 2015 at the age of 68 #21, John Sweeting played his final game. Predeceased by his parents, Ester & Gordon Sweeting; brother, William. John is survived by his wife, Mariellen Cupini; children, Scott (Jessica), Susan, Jeffrey (Kaitlin), & Michael Sweeting; step children, Alison (Sean) McLean, Kimberly & John (Michelle) Cupini; 4 grandchildren; aunt, Jane Jensen & his constant companion, Mellow.
John was an Vietnam Army Veteran and his
passions included, playing softball, bowling, golfing & traveling. After 27 years, John retired from the US Postal Service, where he served the Pittsford area.
John was very active at Stepping Stones Learning Center and helping his wife in the office and at special events.
His family will receive friends WEDNESDAY 4-7 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Stepping Stones Learning Center, 2111 Hudson Ave, Irondequoit, NY 14617.
