First time I met your family was in '75. Herk said "I want you to meet my best friends" I walked into a Kelly green kitchen with flowers on the wall, greeted by a statuesque woman with a lovely smile and a warm Irish brogue. Your dad came up from down stairs after trying to figure out the right amount of yeast and hops to make his own beer Upon meeting them I knew they were an extension of himself (Herk)...kind, gentle, unpretentious and so very bright. All three were gems sent from heaven to warm this world. I was so blessed to have them in my life. I said a prayer to St Theresa in memory of your beautiful mom.

Dear Feeley Family, I am writing for my mother who is a friend of Betty's from the Senior Center: I will miss Betty's wonderful stories about her beloved family (especially grandchildren!) and country. I am so glad we had the chance to meet, and I am happy to say a prayer to St Theresa in her memory. I will miss her. I cannot find words adequate enough to express our sorrow. What a wonderful, unique woman, and so beautiful. We loved to hear her stories, her soft humour but amazing strength. How lucky we are to have spent even a brief path of our journey with her. She always spoke of Uncle John with such love, and the pride she had in her children and their families shone through when she spoke of you all - you are all a testament to her life, a life well-lived. You are all in our prayers and thoughts, with so much love. God bless.

Prayers for you Aunt Betty, thank you for your wit and levity and making life lighter and more joyful for all. I love your family! They are beautiful witty extensions of you.
