Obituary of Elizabeth W. Feeley

"Betty" Nee: Walsh Irondequoit: Passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015. Born in Lahinch, County Clare, Ireland, Betty studied nursing in London, and spent a lifetime easing the suffering of others as a nurse, while instilling in her family an appreciation for the value of laughing until your sides hurt. Betty is survived by John, her devoted husband of 48 years, her three children Jim (Zendi), Ann Marie Pagano, Siobhain (Peter) Kemblowski, her grandchildren Patrick, Lauren, Aine, Michael, Liam and Katy, Brother Pat Walsh, Sisters Mary Keane and Susan Conway, extended family and friends around the world, and not least her wonderful friend and caregiver Heather Interlichia, who she treasured. Anyone wishing to pay tribute to Betty could perform a good deed for someone else, and perhaps say a short prayer to St. Theresa. Betty would have loved that. Her family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday 9:30 am at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
