Irondequoit: Thursday, October 6, 2016 at age 82. John is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Carrol Delle Fave Arena, children, Mary(David)Campisi, John(Sandy)Arena, Marie(James)Busey, Patrick(Kristi Lockwood)Arena and Peter(Michelle)Arena, grandchildren, Kelsey and Tommy Arena, David and Jenna Campisi, sisters, Mary Waterman and Jean Arena, sister-in-law, Marie Henrich, brother-in-law, Patrick(Laurie)Delle Fave, sister-in-law, Ceil Delle Fave, several nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends Tuesday 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Wednesday 1:00 -3:00, 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the funeral home, 570 Kings Hwy. South. Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 10:00am at St. Michael's Church for his funeral mass. Interment private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to AutismUp, 855 Publishers Parkway, Webster NY 14580 or School of The Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623.
