Irondequoit: Peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday September 28th, 2017 at the age of 52. Predeceased by her sons, Michael Patrick Lynch & Matthew Thomas Lynch; and her parents, Giaccomo & Inez DiMaggio. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 18 years, Patrick Lynch; son, Brendan Lynch; sister, Stacey Putnam; father and mother in law, Thomas & Eleanor Lynch; brother-in-law, Thomas G. Lynch; sister-in-law, Mary Kay Lynch; nieces, Jennifer,  Crystal. Lizzie & Maddie; Godson, Christopher and his parents, Dawn & Jim Soufleris.

A special thank you to Team Lynch for their faithful and round the clock presence during Bern's hospice.

Bernadette's passion was touching lives and making a difference in those lives. Her children, her extended family, as well as her many students over the years at RIT bear witness to that touch.

Family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday 11am at St. Frances Cabrini at Our Lady of the Americas (Corpus Christi Church 864 East Main St.) for her funeral mass.
