Dearest Bereaved Family, I knew your father and Dido when he used to come up to Canada to visit Wasil and Maria Chemeris. Pan Chemeris always remembered that he knew Anton since 1943- back “na Poltavachyni”. They were close friends. I also knew Pan Anton when I would come down periodically to Rochester and attend services at St. Mary’s. He would always wink at me, and after Liturgy we would sneak back to the hall for a cold one or two. He was fine man, a true gentleman, a patriot of Ukraine, a proud son of his Ukrainian Orthodox heritage, and an even prouder citizen of America. After a life well lived, I can only rejoice thinking of him and Pan Wasil together in Heaven. Вічная йому пам’ять! Ivan/Johnny Moskalyk (Toronto, Canada)
